TWO WORKSHOPS : DESCRIPTIONS

Fourfold Archetypes

An archetype is a personality type, or a distinct example of a person or thing. Present in folklore across the globe, archetypes are a tool that allows us to instinctively contrast the parts of ourselves that we accept with the parts that we reject. At this workshop, we will look at the four main archetypes of the Major Arcana. These characters represent the human experience at different stages of life––especially in regards to ancestry, relationships, occupations, creativity, and health.

Let us dive deeper to understand the fourfold cycles of being––not only of this lifetime, but of the daily, weekly, and yearly cycles, too. You will leave with a greater understanding of the parts that make the whole, for a greater sense of purpose, wisdom and harmony.

Led by Alysia Mazzella, creator of Fourfold the Oracle

The Fifth Element

Five is manifest as the space between, that which divides Earth from Sky. A void beyond the matter of this material world, it is the container that holds energy of one through four combined, the unifying Aether of our distinct elements. Five is symbolic of our humanity––that which separates us, uniquely and curiously, from the rest––embodied by our five fingers and toes, five tactile senses, five major systems of the body, and five Pranas of the breath. It is an expression of expansiveness and an ability to know oneself as whole through the interaction of our essential parts.

Together we will study the 5th Element within our own Human being as we deconstruct individual somatic sensations and stories, with an intention towards moving more fluidly, more completely, and more at ease. Light bodywork will be explored as a vehicle for balancing our bodily equations through unification of our mind/body/spirit energies.

Led by Anusha Mehar, founder of Panja
